PostCrescent.com: Timshel Cafe prepares to open in Neenah
One of the most visible vacancies in downtown Neenah will be brought back to life this week when Timshel Café opens.
The new coffee house and café is at 124 W. Wisconsin Ave., in the front portion of the Marketplace building. It took the space that had been Aspen Coffee & Tea and Plant Perk.
When Aspen closed, the building's owners, Umer Sheikh and his wife Trish Lison Sheikh, realized the multi-tenant building lost something that was important.
"We needed to provide the tenants with something like this," said Umer Sheikh. "I hope it will affect this building for the better. It will be a good community gathering place and will draw other people to the building."
